Riverbend Campground

Our Story

For two and a half years, our family embraced full-time RV life, traveling across the United States and into parts of Canada. Along the way, we discovered countless incredible campgrounds, met amazing people, and fell in love with the adventure and community that camping creates.

Eventually, we felt called to put down roots back in my hometown of Bethel, just outside of Canton, North Carolina. Only a few months after moving home, we discovered this beautiful property nestled on a bend of the West Fork of the Pigeon River. The moment we stepped onto the land, we knew it was something special.

We could have kept this little slice of paradise to ourselves—but instead, we wanted to create the kind of campground we always hoped to find during our own travels. A peaceful place where fellow adventurers could relax by the river, reconnect with nature, and use it as a basecamp to explore all that Western North Carolina has to offer.

So, in June 2025, Riverbend Campground was born.
